I bought a duo of grinding wheels at the local farm supply store and installed each one on my food processor. I thought my shaft was bent as the food processor just about shook itself off my bench. I took them back and then order and installed one of the two ordered of this wheel. Smooth as silk, not a single vibration. I was a bit disappointed with the shipping container. Literally a piece of cardboard wrapped almost two grinding wheels. The stones were flopping almost inside this papier-m�ché shipping container. The stones were chipped, but not bad enough to be a huge deal. If one of the wheels is cracked starting the jostling and it fly's apart in my face, then I will be pissed, but that doesn't seem like a probability on visual inspection. Can't beat the price for this medium fortitude grinding wheel. I've only used it for in this area two weeks, but thus far, it has met my expectations.

I tried to buy a replacement wheel at my local Lowe's and found they only offer a very universal wheel with a 1' diameter hole and a pack of fake sleeves to down size to your shaft size needs. "Sound exceptable" until you get the thing on and find the washer for your grinder is cupped and allows the sleeves to shift and allow the wheel to set of a vibration that nearly tears the grinder off your bench. Not Pun at All!I was pleased to see that Tekton had the hole and a what appears to be a nylon lining epoxied in place to preclude the marble from coming into direct contact with the shaft and they sized it properly to fit my shaft needs. I installed it with no problems and found the balance to be close to exact, a affront buzz at startup nothing that would get you into any danger. All in all good job on a splendid product. Veer is slightly made known of weigh. Im soothe by it, keep pro its grating to pocket annotation to. Slightly extra harsh than I probable--seems be fond of chunks of the veer go fleeting the planet over as I grind tungsten electrodes.

This wheel did not perform near as good as old wheel on my grinder. Requires a lot of pressure to really remove material. Disappointed, will not buy again!

This grinding wheel is used to grind jointer-planer knives which demand a wheel with the intention of is around and this one is. It has a slight wobble with the intention of does not diminish from the application it is used for. I have purchased more high-priced strain name wheels with the intention of were not as around as this one keep for up to .010" egged shaped
