Allen's agent, Ken Harris, told USA TODAY Sports that Allen is returning to Arizona to consider Seattle's offer, as well as other possibilities.
Allen's wife, Amy, also traveled to Seattle for the visit.
"We had a great time meeting everyone," Harris said.

The former Minnesota Vikings star has not been in a rush to sign a new contract, and has been splitting his time over the past 10 days between free agency considerations and doing charity work in Arizona.
Allen, 31, was among three elite pass rushers over the age of 30 to become available at the start of free agency, along with DeMarcus Ware and Julius Peppers. Ware quickly signed with the Denver Broncos, who had been in early discussions with Allen, while Peppers signed with the Green Bay Packers.
The defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks already re-signed defensive end Michael Bennett just before free agency began last week, but have room for help on the defensive line after releasing veteran Chris Clemons.
If Allen picks the Seahawks, he would be the team's first big-name signing this offseason. Seattle made a splash in 2013 by trading for wide receiver Percy Harvin, Allen's former teammate in Minnesota, and later signing pass rushers Bennett and Cliff Avril.
